No limits was always accessible when a new hero released, or had a trial. So the solution is already in the game

and this is why leaving gives a penalty, the new leaving restrictions are good

I just play my hero pool. I want to see how well or poorly they do into and with the new hero, what combos or plays can be made, or how I need to utilize my cooldowns to play against them.

I get leavers all the time on my team in competitive for no reason. I dont understand why you revive a loss if someone leaves your team in competitive role queue

Taking out the trials just means now the issues are beginning of season. People will still leave if they don't get the new hero beginning of season (and I experienced it more then), and if the hero's broken they'll still have a broken period. The trials gives people a thing to look forward to and the devs a chance to tweak things after live firing for a short time without the expectation that it'll be multiple heroes tweaked.

Thatâs one of the point of the trial and by the time of the season is out this is lessened and it runs smother. For purely trying l the hero they already have no limits to 5v5 new heroâs if you really wanted to.

Just make an arcade mode where everyone plays as the new hero that comes out. Also weird that people don't just go into no limits to try out new heroes

Thats such a tunnel vision take, thats just how every game is when someone new drops. Also thats why backfill exist, and qp leavers shouldnt be given time outs. Its quickplay people forgot games arent about winning 100% of the time with the best team. Its about having fun.

Adding a hacked quick-play or experimental mode that has faster matches and allows players to use the characters who are about to be put into the game would be ideal.
But câmon this is blizzard weâre talking about.

i feel like the mauga one was shorter, which kept hype for him, whereas this one (I think) was longer which led to some hype for the character being lost.
