Interesting question. On a YT short, Alan Williams was listening to the famous writer discuss leaving all animals off for a long period of time, and the biodiversity dropped significantly. The pasture where the animals were had more biodiversity. Answering this question takes more time and detail. A lot of people think many farmers can not grasp the nuances of AMP grazing. Then we get back to "it doesn't work" or "you aren't doing it right" debate. All the best. It's the future.

His response was "incurious, aggressive response" how do figure?
He's been studying this subject for a while, i think he has a clue
Not to mention in order for the ground to be rewild ... you have to have animal's, insects, etc on it. 😮
What these farmer's are doing now .... IS bringing back the diversity of how it once was with bison roaming free, plus elk, deer, antelope, etc.
There are some bison ranchers doing the same thing & have improved or improving their soil, plus have native grasses.
Check out Joel Salitin & Alan Savory

AMP grazing IS rewilding the land! That's the whole point, to mimic wild ruminant grazing patterns of prairies, savannahs and meadows. Her question also implies that everything was forest, which it wasn't. Plus, without fire, that forest will never be anything close to "rewilded"
