For a family of 3 without blowing the bank you canāt go wrong with an Si, ST, Gti, Wrx, or a Veloster. You can find em all in decent used condition for under 20k in the US.

A Honda or any car dealership charging $20,000 over MSRP is asking a lot. Only someone who doesnāt care or is uninformed would consider buying at that price.

If youāre talking about the Type 5 as a family car, itās worth noting it only seats 2 in the back. There is no middle seat, just cup holders. It is a great car though, on road and track.

My wife bought me a 2 lap blast with a professional driver at Spa race track in Belgium. The car was a new Type R. I couldn't believe how fast it was in the hands of a pro driver. A completely standard car too!

I like it, but I'd change a few things: (1) I'd put a leather cover over the gear shifter so you don't burn your hand, (2) I'd put a manual emergency brake because I trust it more, (3) I'd put the windshield squirters on the car rather than the wipers because that makes more sense, and (4) I'd make the floorboards in the front black because there's too much red in front already.

I love it and thatās coming from someone who owns one . Iāve had many nice cars over the years but this is my favorite. The gear box is phenomenal and the car is so well rounded in every area. 4 months of ownership now and I feel like Iām still on the honeymoon and it keeps getting better.
