Hogwarts Legacy 2 news has finally surfaced along with HBO's new up and coming Harry Potter TV Series!
WB Games president David Haddad told Variety that Hogwarts Legacy 2, or whatever the game is called, could connect to the upcoming Harry Potter TV series in some way. It remains to be seen how this would come to be, however. Hogwarts Legacy was set in the 1890s whereas the TV series is understood to be a re-telling of the Harry Potter books, which take place in the 1990s.

I feel like the developers should all be required to play Skyrim. Because they already know how to make compelling characters, if they can add that skill onto Skyrimās companion system, then that would be great.

The new game needs to follow a darker story, along the lines of Sebastianās story. Harry Potter was always dark and creepy the main story in legacy feels so out of place.

I feel like the āconnectionā thatās being pushed is more thematic than anything. I imagine the castle will be redesigned to match the tv show and theyāll be trying to tie in some voice actors for the TV show (Simon Pegg to play Phineas Blackās portrait in the show etc).

Yeah but I feel like the environment is gonna get old really fast. Even just hogwarts, even if you changed where you go outside of hogwarts. For those of us that 100% the game, going thru hogwarts for all those hours again collecting shit will get old fast.

There are still so many unanswered questions in the first game. I think we just need a part 2 answer those questions and give us a good storyline.
