I guess this all started because of the increase in onboard situations with disruptive passengers.
I admit if I was cabin crew it puts you on the spot which a bit unfair.
Once has a customer service role where a lady shoved a camera in my face. The irony was she was the one out of order. So I just kept being nice and she went away. ๐

I filmed my 2 flights recently on Qatar Airways! One from Boston to Doha, & the other Doha to Jeddah! I had no problems whatsoever! The only thing is on the 2nd flight a flight attendant said I can film, but not film anyone though! So. I also had a flight attendant at Alaska Airways from Boston to San Diego that was unprofessional & condescending intimidated me because I was filming in/on the plane

I mean a lot of policies are just their in case they need a reason to throw someone off. They probably dont care about recording but if someones being super weird about it then they have a reason to throw they out.
