I had lunch, I had crackers, I had cake, and then I had another slice of cake. I was hungry and I listened to that. In the past, feeling hungrier than usual or hungrier than expected was something I'd beat myself up over. Even if it was just an extra slice of bread or square of chocolate (or even a grape). I'd feel like I'd blown it.
But can you call it a healthy relationship with food if you're constantly fighting yourself? And do you really want to spend the rest of your limited time on this planet fighting yourself?

To everyone who's been asking about the recipe: I had 1000 apples that had fallen from the tree in the garden π

so I will share my recipe here and update as I refine in future (but it's perfect π€πΌ chef's kiss). For now:
Base:
90 g oat flour (I blended ProteinWorld's cinnamon superseed oats for this π PWHANNE for discounts)
60 g almond flour
100 g dates (soaked)
1 tsp vanilla extract
30 ml canned coconut milk
Middle:
350 g Morinu silken tofu
80 g canned coconut milk
150 g apple sauce (use maple syrup or date syrup for a richer, sweeter flavor)
2 tsp vanilla extract
120 ml Raw Bean Proper Coffee (or espresso)
24 g cornstarch
Blend together the base, press into a greased dish, and then blend together middle and pour over the top. Pop in the preheated oven at 180 C for 30-50 min (the time will depend on the size of your dish -- for a 6-inch, go for longer, whereas for an 8 or 9-inch, go shorter until the edges are golden but the middle is still slightly wobbly). Once done, leave in the oven with the door ajar for 20 min before allowing it to cool fully.
Top:
50 g Prozis peanut butter (HANNE for discounts)
50 g Montezuma chocolate
Melt the ingredients, pour over the (fully cooled) cheesecake and allow to set (if you have any patience left at this point). Enjoy!
