I'm FA. This video is so right. I've been hurt many times before for many years. I have trust issues. My world is in turmoil, uncertain. I see red flags everywhere. Even where there may be none. Phantoms.
All I want is someone who declares what they are about to do, then does it. I do that too. Explains their thought process, leaves no room for doubt/explains until there is no doubt. I do that too. Is willing to admit fault when I admit mine too. Let's me call them out and calls me out too. It's 2 way. I wanna know it's safe to do all these without being exploited/abused so lead by example and I'd follow immediately after. And I would trust you with my life ā¤
I love vulnerability and want someone I can be vulnerable with without having to be on guard all the time.

My FA ex did not trust me, and I did find the first three so powerful in helping to improve things. And yet, he had no ability to take in context, so it didnāt matter how transparent I was ultimately, he stuck with his narrative and totally shut down, expecting sex while withholding his emotions after a 15-month, very bumpy investment. An extreme case, and was wondering if narcissism was in the mixā¦ hate the overuse of that label by lay people.but he says his mom was a narc, which should have been a red flag that a 65 year-old (63 when we met), was still so scarred by his family of origin where he painted his dad as the hapless victim, never really freeing himself of the fear of that pattern playing out in his own life. Very sad. Saw the absolute worst in all women. Divorced 25 years ago and has trusted no one since. I tried.

Leave the relationship allow them to get the mental help they need. , Avoidant person have a deep emotional issues that will heal in a relationship.
