I have toys and clothes that I loved and have a longing for still because I wasn't the one to separate myself from those things.
Parents, you don't always know what matters to your kids.
Let them be part of the process!
I wish my mom would have helped ME learn when to let go of stuff...maybe I wouldn't have grown up to develop mild hoarding tendencies.
This is only a favor to yourself, IMO.
