On the buttering of each face joint it's important to apply a little more pressure.
Or it can be a pain to clean.
As it leaves a line of slurry mortar on the joint edge..
That you have to rub off with a stone.
All bricklayers should have to acid wash thier own work to learn this.
Especially in a small business it can save many man hours over a year.
Its called a smeeeeaaaaarrr...
