I stopped using mulch from the big box stores 5 years ago. What I noticed is that I was doing was adding soil to my yard which has a limited amount of space. I know sift the soil manually with a wire mesh sifter. This way I donβt lose track of the irrigation lines and extra connection points in my yard.
