It’s a catch22 situation. The plastic valve covers warp and leak so you have to replace them. I’ve done 2 in 6 years on my m52. Swapped to the far superior Aluminum, no leaks ever again- BUT- they get hotter then the plastic ones and wear the gasket and grommets out much earlier. Like within a year my grommets where cracking pretty bad. At least they’re ALOT cheaper then a 300$ cover so I don’t mind spending 30$ on the gasket/grommet combo
