Ive been diagnosed with MCS (multiple chemical sensitivities). Anything scented absolutely makes me sick! swollen sinuses, burning mouth tongue lips throat lungs, severe headache, weak. I can’t function! I can’t even go to malls, theatres etc. cause it’s full of perfumed people & they also put scents in the HVAC systems. Advice - Don’t use cleaners with chemicals- only use natural cleaning products, baking soda, vinegar, 70% Isopropyl, lemon juice. In terms of laundry detergent I can tolerate Tide scent free & I double rinse. Literally all this chemical crap means I have to stay home most of the time. Thanks for making me feel I’m not alone in this.

Garbage stinks-- add few drops of essential oil, if you must- Garbage will still stink, regardless.

Thank you I need to hear this because I used to have febreeze all around the house and trash bags with aromas and my son and my lil girl have allergies for several weeks after i saw a video talking about this i get rid of all of them and know i will do with the trash bags thank you so much for the info 🙏

I sprinkle a few drops of lemon essential oil in the trashcan when the bag is empty and it makes the area smell lovely. 🥰

I am sure they keep the bags at the checkout next to them in the storage room, sometimes all my groceries reek of that nasty chemical smell. I take my own bags with me to avoid them. Also some stores smell like that, yuck!
