I work all over the country & live in KY on Lake Barkley. I was shown a wacky worm set up in SC & never really thought to fish it at home until this year and I’m sure glad I did. I have had luck with all types of shapes from a senko to a homemade wooly crawler. Really glad I learned this technique. Fish on everybody fish on!

YES you are the only Man on the Planet lol that doesn’t. I Fish the River so I tend to use the Tejas Rig about all the Time with a Craw or Worm and I just got back into fishing a few years ago and trying to get proficient with one Technique and then move to a Jig maybe. Stay safe my Friend

I loved Texas rig for years but I haven't fished it in years lol. Nobody I fish with frog fishes so I would say that. I keep a frog tied on

I still fish a Texas rig as my go to rig. But I also fish a Ned a lot. I hardly ever fish a shaky head and never fish a Carolina rig.

I have been called crazy for not bobber fishing for trout and steelhead. I just don't enjoy the set up and it's a lot more work for the same amount of bites.

Nope can't do it I keep Texas rigs tied on lol it just catches to many fish for me to jump into a 100 other rigs that hasn't produced for me😂. I've tried all the other rigs though at least once. But to be fair a Texas rig is a stable rig that everyone uses in the south.
