my grandfather was a preacher , my parents were both C of E as was i .....no longer though the c of e makes mockery out of it .... ive decided to become catholic and now attend my local catholic church instead ....and ever Sunday i see the congregation growing larger

They don't believe in the bible. They can't have ever read it. I been reading it and it's impossible not to believe it when you have started reading it from Genesis all the way to Revelations. Just one chapter a day, more if keen, but as long as do at least one chapter when don't feel like it. I find I can keep it going.

How is the church fighting within itself and not preaching the gospel? I take it youโre referring to the C of E? Seems like a bit of a sweeping generalisation. On a parish level as Iโm sure you know, there are many church communities across the country where the Gospel is being faithfully preached to Bible believing Christians who are also reaching out to their local communities to demonstrate the love of God in practical ways and not fighting amongst themselves as you suggest. As usual when the C of E is in the national headlines, the church generally gets a lot of negative comment about church numbers dropping and how its the end of the C of E etc usually from those who have no awareness of what is actually being done by faithful Christians in local communities around the country. Whilst it is clear that the hierarchy and structures of the C of E require drastic change in the aftermath of the Archbishopโs resignation, letโs not loose sight of the great Christian witness that is going on in parishes instead of the constant negativity about what has gone wrong and who is responsible.

Yes in the day after-ish the original apostles died. I was restored but not till late 1800's. "The dark ages" was high pinochle of C of E & Catholic church. Most people have a hard time believing in something so torturous, ugly and evil. You just spoke of 1 aspect. Christianity YES! 100%.
