Pedro isnt who I'd have cast as Joel and Gabriel wouldn't be my first choice as Tommy. Here's my ideal casting list:
Joel = Josh Brolin or David Boreanaz.
Tommy = Garrett Hedlund or Charlie Hunnam.
Ellie = Dafne Keen, Kaitlyn Dever or Julia Butters.
Sarah = Sophia Lillis or Julia Butters
David = I'd personally say Nolan North but just throw on some make up and a wig and there you go, he's already scary as David and I'd love to see him do the role in live action but either Jeffery Dean Morgan or Gary Oldman would be a great alternative fit.
Maria = Lauren Cohan.
Tess = Carrie-Anne Moss.

I'm looking forward to this. Changing Sarah to be what I am assuming is biracial is balsy. That one actor playing David don't give me David vibes. I knew that dude was no good in TLOU1. I'm sure they'll all do great though. I haven't looked forward to a TV show like this in a while.
