I have a couple of each, but I am partial to the Telecaster myself. The Strat is a bit more comfortable, but the Tele is just more fun to play.

Tele......baseball bat stuck to a plank of wood. Simple as it gers, but..... no place to hide.
I wasn't good enough to play my Tele well, so I sold it to a good Country player in NC,. Got a Strat.
We are both happier.
