Skyrims goodest boy is meeko.

One thing I hope they do in E.S. VI is program the wolves to be neutral towards you when you're a werewolf In human form. Like you're just another wolf, cause they can smell it in your blood.
Until then I'll just be screaming at my screen that I'm one of them, while I defend myself.

This was recreated as an easter egg in Fallout 4, just outside the Fairline Hill Estates. You don't get to keep the pet though, as it belongs to a nearby NPC.

Same thing happens in Fallout 4. If you save a Mongrel dog you will run into that same dog several times throughout your journey and on occasion it will be there to help you in the battle when you're in a tight spot

I love all the bajillions of random or just oddly set encounters they put into this amazing game. It's pretty crazy how you can make such an amazing game that it will likely outlive it's creators and even the early players if it.
