They exist to address the pressing needs of nearly 2 million food-insecure residents of NYC, including 600,000 children. Daily they serve food to between 500-800 people in the community.
We are so grateful for their ministry and we've had the privilege this week to help by serving food, doing projects, praying for people and sharing the gospel to the people who stand in line to receive food.
Just today we had two women come to know the Lord! One was a young mother who had a 15-day old in her arms while standing in line and we were able to share and help her take her groceries back to the shelter. Another was a Pakistani Muslim woman who was seeking and came to know the Lord.
Praise God for his faithfulness and goodness! Please pray for these new believers and for continued grace as we seek to share the gospel!
