My first guitar I got in 1988 but the serial number indicates a 1984 model. It is an American Standard Fender Stratocaster. It's not very heavy sounding but it plays great.

My first guitar (I’m 15) was a 1965 Harmony. It was my aunt’s guitar when she was a kid. She gave it to me and I played it for a few months until I bought my new strat. I didn’t want to risk messing it up.

My first guitar picked me. I didn’t know I wanted to play until I saw the most beautiful nylon string hanging in a music store. It was unbranded and probably the cheapest guitar in the store but I didn’t know the difference back then. I don’t have it anymore, unfortunately it became unplayable due to a bent neck and no truss rod to correct it 😢 But I learnt from that experience
