The Blind Rabbit
There was a young rabbit who hated herself for one reason—she was blind. The only one she didn’t resent was her kind and devoted friend, a fox, who stayed by her side through everything. She often told him, "If only I could see the world, I would stay with you forever."

One day, a miracle happened—a generous stranger donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, her world burst into color, shapes, and light. Overjoyed, she looked around eagerly until her gaze fell upon the fox.

He smiled gently and asked, "Now that you can see the world… will you stay with me?"

The rabbit froze. For the first time, she realized—the fox was blind.

Shame and shock rushed through her. She had imagined a strong, sharp-eyed fox, not one who couldn’t even see her. Hesitating, she whispered, "I… I can’t."

The fox’s ears drooped, but he nodded and turned away without another word.

Days later, the rabbit received a single note from him. It read:

"Please take care of my eyes, dear friend."

Only then did she understand—the eyes she now saw with had been his gift to her.

Moral: When our circumstances change, so do our hearts. Some may forget the kindness they once cherished when life gives them something new. True love is not about what we see—but what we choose to remember.
