It’s also a difference between personal ethics and rights. Let’s say you black out and wake up hooked up to a dialysis machine. On the other side of the machine is a world famous violinist. Definitely a person. The minute you unhook yourself, the violinist dies. Some may find it unethical to ‘unhook.’ The real question is, do you have the right to unhook yourself, ethics aside. Is it your body, your right, or not?

I think because of the unsurety of the metaphysical or material emergence understanding of the beginning of life there is no way to justify
It may be that there is no entity that is me up until some point in the span of my organism, but because such is only one plausible theory of many it is very possible any abortion is killing a valued thing and thus it cannot be ethical.
So I am very, very conservative on abortion because it's not ok to kill something that may very well be a person.
I can't even prove other full grown ppl arent philosophical zombies, and we can only measure some of what is experienced, not the nature of subjective perspectives itself.
