Every time I get out of the shower or bath. When my feet are soft and the pores are open. I load them with lotion and oils. Then, wear a pair of clean socks. Especially before going out with sandals. Fresh lotion by the handfuls before sleep with clean socks.

My dad actually has MAJOR feet issues. He's gone to so many doctors and none of it has worked or helped at all. Basically it ends up cracking so bad that it starts bleeding or it'll get so wet that he likes can't walk. It's basically like a skin condition and a fungal thing fighting no matter which way he goes is our theory. What would you recommend?

I have severe cracked and dry heels and I can smother them with stuff like aquaphor and urea based thick creams and it only slightly improved them. I cannot get rid of these deep cracks no matter what I do. It’s so so painful, I even seen a podiatrist which just made it more painful.

my nana did the same thing except with bag balm, so i do too and it works like a dream. it does on a lot of things. im not a dermatologist tho, that’s just an old wives “life hack,” and im unsure of the effectiveness.

I don't understand why they tell you to put on socks after moisturizing because if the socks are made from cotton, cotton absorbs moisture ...the socks will absorb the cream/lotion/ointment you use.

I had cracked feet from work and Okeefes foot cream and a bit of aquaphor twice a day cleared it up in 3 days. On top of using a foot file every other day till it cleared. I can not sleep with socks on but I always put them on after my night shower just to lock in moisture and take off at bed.
