By far the easiest and best way to beat the wall of flesh in terraria 1.4 is utilizing water walking potions and not building a long and drawn out platform !!

As a master mode summoner player… you need to build a hellbridge about 60% of hell on a large world not even exaggerating

The hell highway is actually still usable during hardcore for transportation and if you are building it with rocks it can be infected by corruption and you will have a nice farming spot for souls and stuff

when i was younger i didn’t think of building a bridge or using a water walking potion so instead i just used the umbrella and funny enough it actually worked.

Listen. You want soul farms? Make a stone hell bridge. It grants a high chance of those blocks being corrupted or hallowed, granting many souls.I do this in many serious playthroughs.

then you miss out on future infrastructure that you could use for farming souls, getting quick adamantite/titanium, a makeshift crystal farm, and even a flame feather farm, also not being able to cheese/speedrun WoF with dynamite/beenades all while having an extremely high chance to die via getting stuck on crappy terrain

walkways are much more consistent in terms of evasion, plus they help on killing hardmode enemies right after WOF

The only thing as of information I got from this video is that I never realised that there are no buildings at the corners

I prefer using solid blocks with a gap every now and then, that way only 1 eye is shooting and it becomes easier to focus on dps

I use stone so it can used later as hallowed/crimson farm for keys/souls and then also ash blocks so fire blossoms spawn naturally on it :)

lava waders are by far my favorite accessory, only thing I even like close to as much is worm scarf

I'm still build a long bridge because you still need the underworld for materials and you need a way of transportation.

This honestly only works in normal/expert mode, if you're playing on higher difficulty it's next to impossible to beat the WoF like this

Bad thing is when there is a big wall where you cant get up you are dead and thats hell in terraria almost only walls at end of a lava lake or so

Even still a bridge in the underworld is still useful after the fight man

you can still knock out a bee and fly on it, but the effect will not be the same, you can still throw it bee pomegranates and bee onions

Nah waiting time and preparing is 90% of the enjoyment
