you know, ive been wondering if it would be worth it to set up a solar system in such a way that it will charge up the batteries to 100%, or slow charge the battery in such a way that the battery state will be 100% when there is not enough light and power directly from the solar panels when theres enough light

How vertical do you have your panels during winter? Do you tilt them a bit towards the wintersun so they get a bit more and loose snow easier?

You don’t do that first you don’t heat with solar second you’re cycling those batteries so they will crap out a whole lot sooner 😂

The winter performance boost and over paneling comes in clutch when the days are short. Some would say that it's a waste of energy, but I rather have more and not need it.
When your batteries are fully charged by noon and still have a surplus; fire up the slow cookers, do laundry, etc. Working in harmony with mother nature is the key to offline living...
