Had a very similar situation with an '89 Celica convertible. Bought it form an auction flipper so there was still junk in the trunk. Started cleaning it out when my very hot neighbor walks up and starts chatting. A little flirting later and realized we had uncovered some serial killer's trophy collection of ripped panties, stockings, daisy dukes', etc.
She slowly backed away...
Worst was the "gerbil" cage that I had found... Over the summer, I would leave the top open and when I walk out would have to swipe some this spider web strands from across the back. Would happen every day. Then I started seeing random spiders crawling across the windshield... Turns out it wasnt a gerbil cage. It was a spider cage, and it had laid and hatched eggs before I even bought it.
Can't imagine why it was put up for auction...

I had a friend in Spokane back in the late 90's. He had his van confiscated by the police because it was used by a serial killer. The guy was killing prostitutes all over Washington. They found out his "new" van was in fact used in one of the crimes. It was creepy.
