I think Dawkins really has a distaste for philosophy and theology in general. He completely disregards metaphysical aspects of life. I love that Alex actually took the time to study theology to help bridge the gap from sceptisism and theism. To try and understand both sides and find some common ground.

Christian here but fan of Alexâs nonetheless (certainly keeps me on my toes). What I liked about this interview is how he didnât just fawn over Dawkins but instead went down the route of challenging him on a number of topics. I much prefer it when two people who share the same view can still challenge one another. Great interview!

As a Christian, I really appreciate Alexâs response here. He kindly retorted against Dawkins strawman by posing a reasonable question, and Dawkins resorted to his usual holier-than-thou close-minded snobbery. Dawkins is as committed to a worldview (if not more-so) than the theists he condescends toward.

It is true that with humility comes wisdom. Dawkins has no humility and his only "argument" is mockery.
Thank you Alex for being such an amazing skeptic and not getting stuck in the unreasonable mockery that the inmense majority of atheists show. Your humility shows a good will to learn instead of settling for vanity and presumptuousness. I love you so much.

I agree with Dawkins. The idea of the guilt sacrifice, the sacrifice of the innocent man for the sins of the guilty is certainly a hideous idea. Just because children are born with a propensity towards immaturity doesn't mean that they only way they can grow up is to accept that someone they've never met died for their mistakes, which is actually the opposite of taking responsibility
