Id say Cull the Weak is one of the best because every enemy practically has -X max HP, and it gives some splash damage that I THINK can chain. But it also doesnt trigger 'on kill' effects which kinda sucks.
Either way, being an Illithid rocks

Gotta say, IMO, by far the most powerful Ilithid power didn’t even make this guy’s list.
Perilous Stakes. I think the problem is the power is framed as a minor buff with a major drawback. But you can use it instead on your enemies as a ridiculously powerful debuff, making your target vulnerable to everything - doubling all damage against it. Real useful for melting bosses super fast.

One of my favorites is Survival instinct. It helps me out in a scrape pretty frequently because I don't long rest often so I can stack long rest based bonuses like Bliss spores.
