Do you practice for long-range with the 308, that is you use the 308 and then you compete with the 7mm PRC?

I loved my 7mm Remington mag. A flat shooting son of a gun ! 600 yards and in a standing position, with no scope, it'd put 4 out of 10 shots within a 10" paper plate. Both ADLs and BDLs were amazingly accurate right out of the box.
Reloading your own ammunition refines the accuracy even further. I was packing 61.5 grains of IMR 4831 into my belted 7mm casings. I religously used the "Hornady Reloaders Bible" to develope my practice/hunting loads. I was achieving 4100 fps using 125 gr boattails. Just 1 grain of propellant can and does make a huge difference in accuracy. This is a great way to spend the summer getting ready for the Fall hunts.
