Itâs a classic case of someone who didnât want to be perceived as evil but had little choice- no one in the books would really forgive her for putting them through all of that pain but they understand that she didnât want to. Honestly Elenaâs story is really sad. She just wanted to stop Erawan and while her plan was great, she didnât know the cost. She was forced to never find peace with her family and help her ancestors, knowing what was going to happen. Even while Aelin and Dorian were okay, Elena never got a happy ending.đ˘
