I’ve never made stabilized whipped cream before, though I can certainly think of many times it would have helped! Can I ask, does the gelatin leave any kind of funny aftertaste? Does that t affect the texture of the whipped cream, like does it make it like jelly in any way?

Anna, I have a friend who is a chef who specializes in baked goods. He told me if I cream a couple of tbls of cream cheese,then mix in the heavy cream...
it will be more stable .
Ppl, you got to try it. The whip cream just literally stands up to anything and NO cream cheese taste
