When I did Judo properly executed macro aggression scored an ippon in randori.
We also had to be good training partners and create a good learning environment for all skill levels.
I thought this would be humorous but you are serious. Your application is correct.
(Police use "verbal judo" to control a situation with aggressive speech. Thought you might go there.)

We have a saying here, implicit has no value, because it is about how you react to it or what you understand. Context is king but implicit stuff has no value.
There is a difference between saying "actually that was good" when someone is doubting his abilities and saying it just to be an arrogant mf.

Love judo and BJJ however, micro aggression is basically liberal double speak. Asking people to be positive and uplifting is a great thing. A rising tide lifts all boats but micro managing everyoneâs speech or thoughts is straight out of 1984. I believe the book was meant as a fictional warning not a â how to manualâ.

Micro aggression... good god man. It's just called being a prick. It's not aggression at all, and how you know it's not is you had to put a modifier on the descriptor and then explain why you though it was a new thing. The guy was just being an ass, get over it. Stop giving it a new name and just shut it down when it happens. You're in martial arts of some kind and don't know how to settle a technique disagreement?! It's like a bad joke from an alternate universe.

I had a coach that banned us from from cheering people from the sidelines if we were sitting out a round of randori. At first I though that was a bit strange, but actually it really helps. Not only does the cheering put off the less confident people, it encourages everyone to just go for their winning moves instead of trying out more experimental things.
