Freezing cookies is such a good idea! Use parchment paper and a bit of flour on them before smooshing, it makes mine not stick at least, I use a glass so I can hold the paper at the same time

I will be honest, my grandma started to freeze her cookie dough and it was pretty noticeable when she started. I had only recently found out about it but around the time she started, I had noticed a large drop in taste and texture. The flavor was generally more muted and the texture a lot harder.
