Some times everybody says no and that is the beginning of feeling lonely. Sometimes you’re in hospital and even your family doesn’t even call you. Some times everybody just turn their backs on you.

The problem is that I don’t want to be a burden or inconvenience others because so often the thought of “no one actually likes me” sneaks in and can be real hard to be rid of a lot of the time.

Is it loneliness or solitude, though?
As a loner myself, I have been working on making that distinction for the last few weeks, meaning, it is one thing to be alone and miserable and a completely different thing being alone with your thoughts trying to learn from and about oneself.
I very much enjoy the philosophical insights that you have shared on the issue lately, BTW.

The more people you invite into your life, the more responsibility you have to maintain that relationship and be a good friend. I think that's why a lot of people dont bother and more casual personalities have more friends.
