That’s what I do, I am doing the mentzer style, I don’t have a partner but what I do is 2 warm up sets then my working set I drop set then rest pause after 10 seconds and it’s worked especially going back on bulk, I started 3 weeks ago I did 65s on incline for like 8 then now I’m already 70 for 12s

I used to do 4 rest pauses while doing bent over single hand dumbbell curl (saw Arnold doing them and felt amazing) biceps got pretty even and bigger

If you do this make sure you rest longer between workouts, the closer you get to failure (pause sets, drop sets, half reps, etc) the more muscle damage you have the more rest time you need to repair it and grow, so don’t think you can just start doing this without modifying your split at all.
