Im 49-yrs-old. I grew up in a wrestling home (NOT pro wrestling; high school and college folkstyle wrestling), but my dad watched boxing and kickboxing, because he loved combat sports. I grew to love martial arts as a result of his interest. Wide World of Sports on ABC used to have an weekly promo before the sporting event that stated, "The thrill of victory, and the agony of defeat" as a long jump skier was demolished on the long jump lol
Superfoot was a karate practitioner, primarily, but his kickboxing fights were televised for free on on ABC on the weekend mornings and when ESPN started showing martial arts.
Until now, I had no idea Superfoot Wallace was not at full capacity. Crazy! Because he beat everyone's ∆§§! He's an absolute legend. Now this additional info adds to his legacy for me. What a boss!
