1. DO NOT EXERCISE TOO MUCH - During menstruation, you lose a lot of blood, so naturally you become weaker physically and less active mentally. There is lot of heat inside you that is being released during menstruation, working to make a body cooler. Exercising at this time required more blood circulation and generation of heat which is counter-productive.

2. AVOID WASHING YOUR HEAD DURING THE FIRST 3 DAYS OF MENSES- Over the first three days, the body is already working towards releasing heat through the discharge of blood. It is suggested that you not have a head bath in this time to avoid interference with the natural detox process. However, on the 4th day, a complete head-to-toe bath is suggested.
