That is actually really cool.. I use to lay a few bricks 20 odd years ago. I was a brickies labourer, 3 and 1 gang. I wish I did an apprenticeship but I ended up being a kitchen fitter 😂

I'm no brick layer but im sure there's supposed to be no gaps between the bricks and the adhesive. Surely if water got in, frozen, expanded, it would make the adhesive crack and break up? Correct me if im wrong?

Crazy how often i see cement all over brick faces, hanging out of joints after building / repointing. Brushing down is surley the easiest but most satisfying bit to get the finished result? . Nice work!
