I love 🫶 the quality of your videos-even in shorts, you never disappoint me in your ability to convey your POV as a Frenchwoman culturally & mentally. It’s as if you project me straight into your mindset and basically I get to live vicariously through You in your experiences. Thank you for that Lucille! With the help of you and a couple other French teachers here online-I feel I am getting the full experience overall while learning about my favorite language and culture!

I’ve done the top of the Rockefeller Center and the Empire State building. I will say that I preferred the former than the latter.

generally not a fan of ads in shorts, but if it has to be done, this is how it should be - short and quick, and after some very relevant content.

I traveled outside the US for the first time this Summer. Visited Paris, Strasbourg, Tubingen, Freiburg, Staufen, & Basel. It was all so beautiful. Like a dream! I watched a lot of your videos before I went and they were a huge help... thanks! ā¤

As an American, it makes me smile knowing that you were able to come here and have such a wonderful time despite my country being in such the state of turmoil that it's currently in! Tourism is, sadly, most definitely down. Canadians, who once travelled here regularly, and were an enormous source of US tourism money, now sadly but nonetheless quite understandably refuse to cross into the US on account of the horrific tariffs being imposed upon them by our government. As I've seen Canadians state on social media, they understandably feel that there is no reason that they should spend even more money by coming here, when the US is so horrifically hurting them economically through the tariffs our government is imposing upon them. As a result, we've lost tens of millions of dollars in Canadian tourism money since Trump has been in office in 2025. More importantly, our relationship with Canada, once one of our strongest allies, has been badly damaged. The entire situation is so incredibly heartbreaking! This is not the country of love and hospitality I grew up knowing!

That's why it makes me smile knowing that you were able to come here and have such a wonderful time! The US is supposed to be a country that welcomes everyone, as the famous words etched into The Statue of Liberty your country so kindly gifted us with state. This is a belief that the US once stood strongly by, and is now a sentiment that far too many here are seeming to forget. So, I'm glad that you came despite it all, found us welcoming, and were able to have a good time even despite the hell we're going through! I truly hope you had a wonderful time here! ā¤ļø

I live in tourist mecca (Florida) and I certainly haven't seen a decrease in prices. They're still outrageous. I'm guessing the demand is still there but it's domestic visitors?

As an American, it really bums me out to see influencers I like visiting the US. Canada and Mexico are beautiful countries that have leadership who are willing to stand up to authoritarianism.

In Australia there are plenty of us who have struck it off the list , though we'd sort of done that anyway. I'll stick with Europe.

If you are white and speak English, odds are you’d be fine visiting here. Otherwise I would strongly advise traveling elsewhere.
The US Supreme Court has given ICE (Immigration, Customs and Enforcement) the green light to use race and language as reasons to detain people. If you are detained, you might not be deported right away. Be forewarned that prison conditions may be bad. It’s also possible that you might get sent to a country other than your own.
