We are seeing these cancellations right across the industry. Makes you wonder if essential maintenance and proper yard overhauls are being neglected at the expense of $$$ and the vanity of new shiny ships.

Our family was scheduled on this cruise. Like many , we were extremely disappointed and upset. We had this scheduled since Feb 2024 , found out about the cancelation the night before we left for our cruise. We were able to contact the airlines and hotel , and thankfully, we were able to get refunded. I guess on a positive note , we were not on a ship that had not been functioning properly.

We were supposed to leave 11/10/24 on Regal but our cruise was canceled yesterday morning. I think this ship may be in trouble as we were the 3rd cancellation in a row??

Hearing more and more of these stories across the board from all the cruise lines. The lines are seeing $$$ and trying to get as many cruises possible in and ignoring maintenance. Prices are going higher and compensations when they have to cancel are getting smaller.

My family and I were scheduled to go on this cruise…25% is pathetic compensation for a last minute cancellation like this! We had a cancellation with Carnival Vista that was three weeks out in 2019 and we were offered a full refund plus 100% cruise credit.

Sounds about like Princess. We just came off the Sun Princess and the cruise was HORRIBLE. We complained to guest services to no avail. We did our review sent by Princess which obviously wasn't pretty and of this writing have heard nothing

This was supposed to be my honeymoon cruise. The 25% FCC is a slap in the face. After everything, it ends up being about $300... Luckily insurance is helping with hotel stay and refunding things that werent refunded like parking.

If this was an airline, the FAA would have demanded answers. If not, they would ground the fleet. There is too much nonsense with these ships breaking down nowadays.

Yikes... $200 would not cover our flights from Maine to Texas even one way for us! No OBC on next cruise? What about hotel? The transportation to and from airport? We usually prepay all of it! In additon, since we cruise in winter mostly to get a2ay from winter, we fly down at least 2 days before.so if.flight is cxld due to weather we have time to kake it down. We usually fly into FL 3 days before. I would already have been there. Kinda crappy compensation.
