While I love dairy, I can't eat very much of it on my version of the carnivore diet. It slows my weight loss, makes me feel a bit bogged down, and gives me some weird depression/anxiety symptoms. If you are not experiencing the weight loss you expected on carnivore, try cutting the dairy first.

Dairy does not bother me physically but it does slow down my weight loss

I usually drink A2/A2 grass fed raw milk and raw cream. Haven’t had issues with that. Issues were with regular a1 homogenized store bought milk.

I can actually say I do well with dairy included. I even drink Fairlife milk which has 6 sugars instead of 12 like regular milk. Doesn’t slow anything down for me or cause any strange symptoms. But I do think that people have to try going without for a bit to see if they notice any positive change or not. 😊

Yes Jenny, Dairy upsets my stomach and gives me serious digestive problems. I also feel bloated and have ups and downs with fog brain. I also sleep better when I avoid it altogether.

1. I don’t eat any of those dairy products either anymore. 2. But love & do well with Costco’s organic, A2, full-fat, plain yogurt. 3. Seems to actually aid my digestion & doesn’t cause me weight gain.

Same. Dairy also flares my rosacea and can cause constipation. I've also learned the casomorphins in dairy might trigger my food-addiction tendencies; once I get started with cheese it's hard to stop, likely because of the dopamine hit.

I agree. I think it gives me headaches.😢

I had the same issue with cheese and heavy whipping cream. I maintained my weight after i lost 69 pounds in the first 128 days, then once I cut out that except for butter with my steak and eggs, I lost additional 6 pounds. The only time I feel tired is if i stay up too late playing call of duty lol, but I recently stopped doing that and now my energy is way better!

I love dairy as well and recently discovered I am dairy free allergic I get very sick if I drink whole milk or eat whole milk cheeses very sad but when I took whole milk out of my diet I almost felt an immediate difference

I have a Glucose monitor on, and when I have milk, I become exhausted, foggy headed, and feel like it's hard to breathe. My monitor goes up high, and so now I know why this has happened in the past when I drink milk. It doesn'thappen when I put heavywhippingcreaminmycoffee. Must be the sugar in the milk..

I’m afraid this is me too, and I hate to see it, but it’s got to go

Sorry to hear that. Some people are just lactose intolerant. Thankfully, I am not and I maintain the same weight with dairy and feel just about the same.

How about raw milk & cheese? Might have a different effect given the lack of pasteurization.

I know, I know… it’s my addiction, but I’m really seeing the symptoms. It’s gotta go 😢

I use goat kefir, cheese, ghee, and butter. I'm only 85 days in. Maybe I should cut it out, just not sure how to get enough fat if I do.

Same here and bloat so much and apparently it is the glucose and carbs but there again I was having 2 litres easy per week. Cut it out, bloating stopped and weight dropping. Not back onto raw cheese yet until I’m back at my normal weight. 56 - 57 kilos Cream makes me feel yucky afterwards so not interested 😊 Love butter and staying with that with no issues.
