That's true, but things like cold, navigation system, charging a cell phone and so on quickly reduce the range to 100 to 200 km.

the only reason why you don't take long to charge is because there aren't as many electric cars as cars with combustion motor. if there were significantly more electric cars you would have to wait a shit ton for you to even get to a charging station

In Finland when its winter, electricity is expensive. Its on average 1.50ā¬ for 1kWh so its about 120ā¬
Once price was 3.50ā¬ for 1kWh at winter so its 250ā¬
And you can go 200km at 80kmh by each charge. Then there's risk of car not having battery left to get started, as like fuel car. But charging isnt as easy
In Finland we choose plug-in hybrid instead. You can drive full electric at city bit use fuel at roadtrip
