He’s taking advantage of any tax break or government funding. He is 100% fully aware of what he’s doing and how it benefits him. His job isn’t easy so he deserves the pay but unless the comp package states living in police stations is ok, I don’t know how he can pretend no one is ok with this.

My brother lives in Eagle. He tells me that there is a ton of California cops that live together during the week and fly back when it’s their time to work. But they all joined together to buy a massive home because it’s cheaper

My Brother in law ( r.i.p.) was a gay liberal ( surprised!) One day, he'd defend politicians and why they were creating a regulation, and how important and necessary it was to enact. Six months later, he's doing a project on the down low to get around the expense of the regulation that he had regurgitated the talking points for six months ago.
I couldn't help myself , I waited until he finished, then told him ( smiling and with no sharp edge ) that he'd spewed the talking points, defended them with zeal, then acted hypocritically, I told him see, you tell me that as a conservative I'm wrong,
Then sneak past the rule you made for me.
He was a little pissed, but he got over it.

2nd- he's not really the "Chief" of the Millbrae PD. He's a Capt with the County Sheriff. Millbrae doesn't have it's own Police Dept.
