I was told as a child that Angels do not look like the drawing and paintings that we see, for if we saw an Angel in its real form we would be terrified. The Angels presented themselves to people in ancient times the way they did was for the comfort and pleasure of those people. Well, for me, that broke the ice. It is still difficult to imagine Angels the way the bible describes.
