My son solely breasts feeds never took a pacifier, never took a bottle tried putting him on a bottle. I bought all of her recommendations. He hated all of them ironically the Como Tommo, he latched on instantaneously. And even though sheâs the expert, sometimes your baby just doesnât fit the mold donât be concerned. Donât feel trapped. Keep trying whether or not itâs the one she doesnât recommend or itâs the one you really rooting for the baby is ultimately in charge. Heâs gonna pick the bottle that he likes, donât give up moms. Youâre doing a great job.

Wish I knew this when my kids were babies. Just got a lot of shame from the LCs for bottle feeding at all. My oldest had a lot of trouble latching onto me and it made BFing super stressful and exhausting. I tried but ended up just bottle feeding him. It was better because we weren't stressed about feeding time and could enjoy it

I have no kids. Don't plan to. But I DID find this fascinating and I think the same idea would be good to apply to baby animals that require bottles... I may be wrong. But I've got a feeling that this will be helpful for me to know one day. Even if it's just me passing on the info to a friend. Thanks! âđť

I'm watching this while cuddling my baby who stopped bf by himself 4 months ago. I can't believe it but I really miss bfđ˘ for all the ladies who are still doing it, enjoy while it lasts. I know it is easier said than done but one day it will be the last time and you won't even know it. It will go by so fast

My middle child was bottle-fed because my supply just would not come in despite all the help from a lactation consultant and the expensive galactagogues⌠admittedly this child is pushing towards their 30s but I wouldâve loved that second bottle you showed back in the day because the only option were very narrow bottles with narrow tips or the first style you showed with a whole lot of room in the middle⌠I was very lucky that my lactation consultant encouraged lip tapping and pinching of the childâs face to engage those muscles in a temporary way and set them up for them to feed but at the end of the day I canât help but wonder if that childâs speech therapy wasnât directly linked to the fact that there were no bottles that bridged the gapâŚ. I really love this channel so please keep doing the wonderful work you do.

I can attest that babies are very picky! This video fully makes sense to what happens with my child. Before our baby was born, we went for the one that was marketed to resemble a breast (similar to the wide first bottle she shows), best feeding tip and bottle for baby. Spent quite the money on it. Baby was born, was given the most affordable bottle on the market (similar to the second bottle) in the hospital as a standard. Guess which one the baby chose to like and which one would refuse to eat from? Yup, a quick run to the supermarket to buy the most affordable brand (I think it was Evenflo). It took us about a month or so to actually figure this out. Our baby was even miss diagnosed as lactose intolerant, because she would cry every time she would eat. She was actually not enjoying the expensive brand of bottle. I found out as I once swapped the bottles and would see her happily eating in the affordable one, and then crying her lungs out when attempted to be fed with the expensive one. She even quickly went back to the regular (and less expensive than lactose free) formula. All because of a bottle. Disclaimer: always fully asses and observe whatâs going on with your baby. By no means all cases might be similar and your child can definitely be accurately be diagnosed as lactose intolerant. My child is 12 now and has no issues eating or drinking regular product with lactose.
