Always train both hands both sides, train transitions. Make yourself deadly at every angle, never know when you'll need that skill

If I off-hand shoot, I usually do a half transition, because I have the same advantages and my usual reaction speed

In real steel you do off hand shooting a lot and you should train with it. For the same reason. You don’t want to explode yourself to the person you are trying to shoot. The flying brass does not even cross your mind when you train enough.
