I have never known more patience than when my type one was going through these fits. The not understanding of why can’t I was harder than anything.
We are now 5 years in but she’s still learning. She’s way older than your daughter but struggles are real every day!! I’m with you mama!! And you’re doing amazing!

We have ADHD in a teen hitting puberty although not the same we feel you! My g/son has punch a hole right through his bedroom door (this is his 2nd door but finally he had full blown outburst in school where teacher said they’d like him to come home to cool off (he literally punched a solid wall and his knuckles damaged so there was blood) and honestly I think they were scared, and all because he asked for a time out and they said NO! Like I tell my daughter it’s okay you told them and you are doing your best! So give yourself a big hug from me and just keep going ❤

There are zero calorie water enhancements you could get for this situation. Some are really great tasting and you can sweeten it to her liking.

My baby sister is ten and she has autism and got diagnosed with diabetes last week type one . And she's been having melt downs after melt down and it's really hard to tell her no to certain things.
