If you bought at a retail store, you paid a retail price—by definition. Stop fantasizing. Maybe you were discounted a bit from full suggested retail price, but you paid “retail.”

It's cool that they'll give you discounts, but you could offer me a 50% discount and I still wouldn't buy a Benchmade knife. I know they're American made, but imo they are way overpriced for what you get. I'd rather invest a few more dollars and get a Hinderer, CRk, McNees, RMJ Tactical, or even Curtis custom knives. I'm a guy who can't afford to fork out $300-$2000 for a knife, so pretty much all of my knife purchases are done through Afterpay or Sizzle. Makes it easier for people like myself to be able to afford all the kind of knives I enjoy. Im personally a Shirogorov, CKF, and Herman knife fan, and yes, I use them all regardless of what I paid for it. My 2 edc knives right now are the full DLC coated CKF Rotten Evo 4.0 and my blue denim Shirogorov/RJ Martin Overkill. The Overkill is the most awesome knife I've ever owned and/or used.
