This gravy needs #vegemite…but it’s available at most stores now.
Recipe:
4 T butter or substitute
1 t vegemite
1 t onion powder
1 t salt
1 1/2 c hot water
2 T corn starch
1/2 cold water
Melt butter, add marmite to dissolve, then add onion powder and salt, whisking to combine. Add 1 1/2 cups of hot water and bring to boil, whisking to keep smooth.
Mix cornstarch into 1/2 cup of COLD water, then add the slurry to gravy, stirring while bringing back to a boil. Simmer until it’s thick. Serve immediately and enjoy!
