BURPs/LURPs were fun to use for terrain back in the 1990s, and early 2000s.
Big Useful Rock Piece/Little Useful Rock Piece bricks could really set the mood for some of the Castle, and Adventurers sets.

You don't have to chance the acronym, just what the acronym stands for. Just replace ugly with useful, they start with the same letter afterall

"I didn't have any originals on hand"

0_0 You're telling me I have access to an element that you don't!

This is the greatest day of my life!

The reason why URPs are called as such is because AFOLs from way back then hated them for being ugly and lazy, since they're hollow and big they eat up alot of space and they just sit on top of piles because of their size and hollowness.

Although... because they're just one big piece, they're really useful for building and being hollow you can hide stuff in them, like structural skeletons

More like Big. Useful. Rock. Piece.
The cool part is that since they're hollow you can live in them instead of under them.
Human saying: have you been living under a rock?
Minifigure equivalent: have you been living in a BURP?

You should build a big brick out of sideways bricks, like the stud grud inside is 45 degrees off the outside
That'd be super cool

I have a BURP (big useful rock piece) that's got green swirled into it & is in a fallout inspired m.o.c. that I made years ago on a 64x64 plate

Shame lego doesn't make them like that anymore now tho
