I once gave my 2 weeks while my manager was on vacation (didn't even realize when she left), a supervisor I liked asked me to work a couple of extra days so I said yes. My manager comes back from vacation right when my initial notice was up (at least that's when I saw her) and immediately starts to criticize my job (a job she'd never done), I just smiled as she did. At the end of my shift I went home and went to bed, I woke up to a voice mail making sure I was still coming in. I did come in and was glad that I did because someone told me after I left the manager was in her office panicking saying she had to call me, I guess it was only after she was laying into me someone told her I'd quit and was now working as a favor.

I once got fired due to taking a nap during lunch. They fired me and then asked me to login to my computer so they had access to my personal documentation on how to easily handle important issues that could suddenly pop up.
I very politely informed them that I was no longer employed with their company and would need a contract to allow them access. For the IT folk, they had never set me up on a domain or had any backups in place.

Basically happened to me. I already put in my two weeks cause the new manager was a complete nightmare to work with and was the last straw for me at that job. She as trying to chastise me for "not working fast enough" aka I wasn't able to complete 17 tasks while constantly being put on register as "back up" and I reminded her that I could very well just leave right now with no consequences. She didn't bother me for the rest of my time there.
